Mandate to Statehood and the ideology and values that helped create Israel. Evaluating the philosophy of that creation through the lens and performance of three prime ministers: Ben Gurion, Begin and Netanyahu. The course will also explore the impact of Israel and United States politics on the Jewish community and antisemitism in America.
