This course will examine how some of our more popular Jewish traditions evolved from Torah verses, to Rabbinic discussion, to our home and synagogues today. Join us for this discussion and maybe it will change how you view your own Jewish practice. Among the topics are: What is The Law: An Overview of Jewish Legal Tradition; No Ham and Hold the Cheese, Please!; Breaking the Glass: Jewish Love and Marriage Traditions; Sacrifice No More: The Path to Jewish Prayer Today; Why We Go Crazy on Passover; Jewish Legal Quirks and Oddities
