In the midst of the #MeToo movement, and a surge in traditional religion (and the wild popularity of Shtisel and Unorthodox) this class will explore the meaning of religiously observant women’s head coverings. We’ll take a look into the heads — and hearts — of observant women across the religious spectrum to better understand why they choose to cover up, and what messages head coverings convey spiritually, sexually, politically and personally.
Monday, June 28 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM [Single Session]
Cost: $20
