Steel Fist/Velvet Glove: Broadway Musicals!

From Irving Berlin’s, “Suppertime,” Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s, “You’ve Got to Be Carefully Taught,” to, “Hamilton,” the Great White Way has been able to convey heavy messages with a lightness of being. From changing mores, social justice to political fervor, this repertoire will be discussed and sung. Several guest vocalists will join Cantor Baruch Koritan, who is returning to educate and entertain us at his piano. Whether lighthearted satire or forthright drama, this Broadway stuff is relevant even now.
