Professor Aaron J. Hahn Tapper presents a fascinating talk on The Jewish Story - Inclusion, Exclusion and the Jewish Other Within. Jews are frequently referred to as a single, cohesive, interconnected group by Jews and non-Jews alike. There have always been, since time immemorial many Judaisms. In this 21st century, how can Jews be more inclusive of the historically multidimensional and vastly diverse Jewish Communities that have existed for centuries?
Professor Tapper is the Mae and Benjamin Swig Associate Professor in Jewish Studies and the founding Director of the Swig Program in Jewish Studies and Social Justice at the University of San Francisco.
