Marc's security expertise and firsthand experience have led him to insights into today’s war against Israel, from various forms terrorism to the narrative warfare that attempts to delegitimize Israel’s right to exist and to defend itself. Marc presents a unique view regarding security and counter-terror issues facing Israel today.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER - Marc Prowisor served as a paratrooper in the IDF during the First Lebanon War and has spent over 20 years in Israel’s security private sector. From 1996-2006 Marc was IDF Chief Security Coordinator for the Shilo Bloc, where he coordinated counter-terrorism defense and emergency response, and earned the IDF’s Award of Excellence and Valor. Since 2008 Marc has served as Director of Security Projects for One Israel Fund, improving security and emergency first response for the Jewish communities of Judea and Samaria and around Gaza. Marc continues to consult with IDF Homefront Command and has provided counsel to US Homeland Security. Marc grew up in the Philadelphia area before making aliya in 1981. He and his wife Suri have four children and, since 1994, live in Shilo.
