Hey Incoming Freshman!

You are cordially invited to Hebrew High’s 8th Grade virtual game and chill night March 20th!

Come meet other Jewish teens from across the valley, get to know some of our current Hebrew High students and have some fun.

We’ll start with Havdalah (special end of Shabbat ritual) and get straight to the games, social sphere, and a chance to win some prizes!

And...you’ll learn about Hebrew High and the awesome opportunities for you as a high schooler.

+ What is Hebrew High?

HH or HHPHX (Hebrew High of Greater Phoenix) is a program for Jewish high school students. For more than 50 years we’ve offered all types of classes and experiences for teens to explore their Jewish identity, culture and heritage, along with Tikkun Olam initiatives, Hebrew for credit, Israel trips and education and so much more. Classes run every Tuesday night from 7-9pm plus Thursday nights for Hebrew students.

Learn more here.

+ What types of classes do you offer?

We offer so many types of classes! Everything from Jews in film, to the Middle East conflict, from Torah text and discussions to social justice in our day. Students can fill out an interest survey so we can offer classes that fit everyone’s preferences.

See some of our current classes here.

+ Do you offer Hebrew classes and can I get High School credit for it?

Yes! Our Hebrew program runs Tuesday and Thursday nights and is offered at every level. We are a fully accredited program, which means our Hebrew classes count as your required High school foreign language credit. We send your grades to your school, and it is put on your transcript. Beginners are welcome!
